‘Yogi ji get rid of me…’ Yeti Narasimhanand released the video and accused the police of detention
Mahant Yati Narasimhanand Giri of Dasna Devi Temple has released a video saying that the police has detained him illegally. Yeti said that he should be released because he has to answer the petition filed against his statement in Prayagraj High Court.

Yati Narasimhanand Giri of Dasna Devi Temple released a video on Friday demanding the Yogi Adityanath government to release him from ‘illegal detention’ so that he can respond to the PIL filed against him. Yeti said that the UP Police has detained him unconstitutionally and he wants to get rid of it.
Mohammad Yusuf, Secretary of Maharashtra-based Hazrat Khwaja Garib Nawaz Welfare Association, had filed a PIL against him two days ago. This video was shared with the media by Dr. Udita Tyagi, General Secretary of Yeti Narasimhanand Saraswati Foundation.

Yeti said- I may be murdered
Narasimhanand claimed in the video that he could be murdered by “trained killers”. He said that before he dies he wants to clarify his statement on the Prophet and for this he needs to collect evidence from authentic Islamic books. He said that I want to present the proof of what I have said before the High Court, so that proper justice can be done because justice cannot be done without knowing the side of the person who is being declared a criminal.
Evidence has to be collected – Yeti
Yeti said, ‘I cannot collect evidence in this detention, I will have to collect evidence from different sources for this.’ Narasimhanand was booked earlier this month for delivering hate speech for his remarks against Prophet Mohammad at an event in Ghaziabad on September 29, which led to widespread protests.

The PIL filed by Mumbai residents Mohammad Yusuf and Zakir Hussain Mustafa Shaikh has demanded removal of Narasimhanand’s controversial speech from all social media platforms.
