Azeem Rafiq claims his family were subjected to “threats, attacks and intimidation” since the dilapidated Yorkshire spinner made allegations of racism against his dilapidated club. Rafiq sent shockwaves across cricket two years ago when he mentioned he had been subjected to racial harassment and bullying for the length of his time as a Yorkshire player. Yorkshire commissioned an investigation into the 31-twelve months-dilapidated’s claims and, despite the fact that seven were upheld, the county concluded final October that no member of group would face disciplinary action.
The club came below strain from politicians and the England and Wales Cricket Board launched its bear investigation into the allegations and Yorkshire’s handling of them.
That culminated within the ECB charging Yorkshire and a different of folk earlier this month with bringing the game into disrepute.
Rafiq, who mentioned the racism had given him suicidal thoughts, insisted your entire affair has taken a toll on his family, who bear endured abuse of their very bear from the public.

“From the second I spoke out about my experiences at YCCC, my family and I basically were subjected to threats, attacks and intimidation,” Rafiq wrote on Twitter.
“Absolutely nobody or their family has to be made to no doubt feel unsafe and I beg folk to appreciate that.”
