17 extra COVID-19 deaths reported in Massachusetts, 149 brand-new cases
DPH just recently began reporting both verified cases and possible cases. None of the recently reported deaths fell into the possible category.State health officials stated the addition of probable cases and deaths is part of an effort to continue to provide transparent reporting throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.As of Monday, 920 people were hospitalized and 180 individuals were in the ICU.
