The US has reported the most coronavirus cases worldwide.
More than 45,000 people have so far died with coronavirus across the United States, according to a tally kept by Johns Hopkins University
California had its greatest one-day rise in brand-new cases on Monday while New Jersey, the worst-hit United States state apart from New York, saw its greatest boost in deaths in one day.
In other advancements in the United States:
