The Australian Defence Force will offer more than 1,000 workers to help with the coronavirus reaction in Victoria.

The Federal Government received the request from Victoria overnight.
Defence Minister Linda Reynolds stated the 1,000 soldiers would include approximately 850 individuals to help with preparation and assisting with the enforcement of hotel quarantine.
” Our soldiers are not police personnel … they are not security guards, however they are helping those areas to make sure quarantine requirements are fulfilled,” she said.
