The chief executive of Plane has released a plain evaluation of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the airplane maker.

In a letter to employees, Guillaume Faury warned the company was “bleeding money at an extraordinary speed”.

This month the firm announced it was cutting airplane production by a third.

It comes as the aviation market is anticipated to diminish considerably in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak.
