Amit Shah roared in Lalu’s home district, attacked RJD by mentioning ‘Jungle Raj’

Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed voters in Gopalganj and Samastipur districts of Bihar through a virtual rally on Saturday. He said the upcoming Bihar elections are a choice between the development agenda of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the ‘jungle raj’ of the RJD-led grand alliance.

Amit Shah said, ‘This election is an opportunity to decide to whom the future of Bihar should be entrusted. On one side are those who started Jungle Raj in Bihar. On the other hand, there is the pair of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who have developed the state. The Home Minister was to come to Gopalganj and Samastipur first. But due to bad weather his helicopter could not take off, so he had to deliver a virtual address.

He launched a scathing attack on RJD and accused the party of running a period of anarchy in Bihar during the rule of Lalu Prasad Yadav-Rabri Devi. In Lalu Prasad Yadav’s home district Gopalganj, Union Home Minister Shah targeted Rabri Devi’s brother Sadhu Yadav. He said, ‘The people of Gopalganj have never voted for RJD since 2002. I am sure they will continue this trend… No one knows the exploits of Sadhu Yadav better than the people of Gopalganj.

His name also came up in the murder case of former Miss Patna Shilpi Gautam.

In his rally in Samastipur, Amit Shah also targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and accused him of supporting infiltrators through his ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’. He said, ‘Rahul Gandhi should take as many trips as he wants. Every infiltrator will be expelled from the country. This was the objective of SIR and we welcome the Election Commission’s decision to run this campaign across the country.

Manifesto focused on farmers and women

Amit Shah said that the manifesto of BJP-JD(U) alliance for Bihar focuses on empowering farmers and women. He said, ‘There are two main things in the manifesto – one for farmers and one for women, which I want to reiterate. Recently, Nitish Kumar and PM Modi have deposited Rs 10,000 in the accounts of 1.41 crore Jeevika Didis. They will send up to Rs 2 lakh to all Jeevika Didis in different ways. Second, we give Rs 6,000 per year to 27 lakh farmers of Bihar. Now, we will add Rs 3,000 to it and give Rs 9,000. He further assured that all closed sugar mills in Bihar will be reopened within five years, and the Punaura Dham Development Project will be completed in two years.
