Australia, Unique Zealand the US, Japan and the United Kingdom have launched a casual crew aimed at boosting financial and diplomatic ties with Pacific island international locations, the White Home says.
The Biden administration has vowed to commit extra property to the Indo-Pacific as China seeks to enhance financial, defense power and police hyperlinks with Pacific island international locations hungry for international investment.
The crew, dubbed Companions in the Blue Pacific (PBP), will peep to make stronger Pacific regionalism and make stronger financial ties between the Pacific islands and the remainder of the world.
