Bombay HC grants relief to medical professional couple, raps authorities for ‘harassment’

MUMBAI: Bombay HC revealed its annoyance at the harassment triggered by the authorities to physicians under the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act while approving relief to a Nashik medical professional couple. “This is simply another case where doctors go through persecution triggering a great deal of harassment … The present case is a timeless example where it can be stated that the participants have actually plainly misused their powers,” Justice Bharati Dangre stated on September 7.
