Fans of K-pop super stars BTS have matched a $1m (₤787,000) donation by the group to the Black Lives Matter motion.

US-based Black Lives Matter projects versus violence and systemic bigotry towards black individuals.

It has actually arranged rallies in the US to object over the killing of African-American George Floyd by a white police officer on 25 May in Minneapolis.

The death has triggered a worldwide protest and worldwide demonstrations.

On Saturday Bit Hit Home entertainment, which handles BTS, stated the band had contributed $1m to the Black Lives Matter movement, according to Range and Yonhap news agency.
