The official website for the television anime adaptation of Roku Sakura’s Busu ni Hanataba wo. (April Showers Bring May Flowers) manga revealed a pair of cast, ending theme, and a second promotional video on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on July 4 at 10:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by MBS and BS-NTV.
Voice actors Tasuku Hatanaka (Boku no Hero Academia) and Makoto Koichi (Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu)
K-pop group TWS is performing the opening song “BLOOM” featuring Ayumu Imazu. Rock band GLASGOW (Kyuujitsu no Warumono-san) is performing the ending theme “Souvenir.” The opening theme is previewed in the promotional video below.
Mirai Minato (Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi) is directing and handling the series composition at SILVER LINK. Miwa Ooshima (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta…) is designing the characters. Yuuki Hayashi (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria) and Shougo Yamashiro (Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals) are composing the music.
Sakura began serializing the romantic comedy manga in Young Ace in April 2016. Kadokawa published the 12th and final volume in November 2022.
Yen Press licensed the manga in English in June 2024 and released the second volume on April 15. The third volume is planned for a July 15 release.
