The US Democratic presidential candidate is also a sitting Senator, which means she spent the week in Donald Trump’s impeachment trial instead of campaigning.
Now, she was trying to make up for lost time in Iowa, where the first votes of the US primary election kick off on February 4th.
“Usually, I’d wrap up and I’d say, ‘let’s do selfies.’ But I’ve been locked down in Washington, and I need to get to a lot of places around Iowa today,” she said.
“I hope you’ll indulge me. Bailey’s going to stay and do the selfie line.”
