Washington D.C., 21 April 2023.- The Government of Canada and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) are working together to enhance making capabilities to increase the safe and prompt access to vaccines in nations of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Through C$ 15 million (US$ 11.1 million) financing supplied by Global Affairs Canada (GAC), PAHO will strengthen its present work to improve the existing local vaccine production capabilities, consisting of the production of messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines versus COVID-19 and other illness.
