There’s been a bit more argy bargy between the Federal Government and China about an inquiry into where COVID-19 started.
ICYMI– the Chinese Ambassador to Australia, Jingye Cheng, recommended that if the Government keeps promoting an examination we might face reaction from Chinese customers or even a boycott on things like beef and white wine.
Speaking on AM this morning, Trade Minister Simon Birmingham revealed the Foreign Affairs Department manager, Frances Adamson, spoke with Mr Cheng yesterday about his comments.
The Minister stated he believed the remarks were disappointing which the Government isn’t changing its mind about pushing for a query.

Yep, the idea as I understand it is that anybody with even moderate signs can go and get themselves a test. The government wishes to make it through as many tests as possible now, so feel free to call your medical professional and see when you can get in for a test (hope you’re alright, btw).

NSW has actually established a phased system for returning trainees to in person knowing in schools, and the Premier states Phase 1– which will see trainees in class for one day a week– will begin from May 11
