Lassen County in California was among the very first counties in the Golden State to reopen in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. It will now close down.
What’s going on:
- Dr. Kenneth Korver, the county’s public health officer, announced Tuesday that the county has seen four cases of COVID-19 The county– one of the first places to reopen in the state– will become one of the first to change paths and shut down.
- He composed: “While Lassen County had no verified cases for the past three months, we were completely aware of the danger that the infection could concern our neighborhood. This did take place and we now have a serious issue.”
