Sydney plumber Alex Taskun is concerned about a repeat of the 2009 so-called pink batts scandal, in which a building industry stimulus package for home insulation led to deaths and injuries.
The Prime Minister has confirmed a home renovation scheme is being considered as part of a building industry stimulus package to be announced soon.
“It is about creating jobs and supporting jobs in our residential construction sector,” Mr Morrison said yesterday.
