Victoria’s Premier Daniel Andrews has declared an unmatched state of emergency situation in Victoria, efficient from 12: 00 pm today for four weeks in action to the coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Andrews said it was likely the state of emergency situation, imposed under the Public Health and Wellness Act, would be extended.
He said the declaration would stay in place “for as long as it needs to be”.
