Calling it an “genuine public apology”, the advertisement stated the business releases a genuine apology for the non-compliance orders of the Supreme Court. “In wake of on going matter before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India (Writ Petition C. No. 645/2022), we in our specific capability along with on behalf of the Company, unconditionally apologise for the non-compliance or disobedience of directions/orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India,” the advertisement read. Patanjali, Ramdev and his associate Acharya Balkrishna are dealing with contempt action from the Supreme Court for releasing objectionable and deceptive ads about their ayurvedic items. The advertisement, signed by Mr. Ramdev, and the company’s handling director Acharya Balkrishna, additional read, “We unconditionally extend the apology for holding meeting/press conference dated 22.11.2023. We earnestly excuse the error made in releasing our ads and it is our whole-hearted dedication that such mistakes will not be duplicated. We carry out to comply with instructions and directions of the Hon’ble Court with due care and utmost genuineness.
