After concluding his popular Dil-Luminati Tour, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi shared a reel of their candid chat on his Instagram, and captioned it, “A very memorable interaction! Here are the highlights…” The reel starts with Diljit entering the PMO office with a huge bouquet in his hand. Diljit meets PM Modi with folded hands and bowed in respect. Then they two sit and PM Modi praises Diljit saying that he is true to his name, and winning people’s hearts wherever he’s going.
Then the two discuss Yoga, and Diljit admits how his life changed after adapting yoga to his lifestyle. The Jatt & Juliet actor further admits that when he travelled across India, he understood the true meaning of “Mera Bharat Mahaan.” Later Diljit sings a tribute to Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and PM Modi joins him by giving him beats by playing with the nearby table with his palm.
