After the Pahalgam Terror Attack, after the Pahalgam Terror Attack, the peak in India and Pakistan, and between the attacks from both sides, everyone saw the Pak love of China, China openly supported Pakistan. However, the Indo-Pak Ceasefire has been done, so now recently, controversial comments were made for India in China from Bangladesh. But this Yari of Bangladesh (Bangladesh) from Dragon seems to be overshadowing him and only one step in India has given him a crushing injury.
India takes a big step on Bangladesh
The impact of proximity to China has started appearing on Bangladesh and due to increasing trade tension, India imposed a ban on Indian port entry for many goods in Bangladesh (India Bans Land Port for Bangladesh). This step by India has been taken after withdrawing the transmission facility provided by India in 2020 on 9 April, which allowed Bangladesh to export the Middle East and Europe through Indian ports and even Delhi airports. On Saturday 17 May, a variety of goods imported from Bangladesh were banned at ports, including readymade garments and processed food products.
Indian port closed for these Bangladeshi goods
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) Dwaga clearly stated in the notification released on Saturday that the import of readymade clothes from Bangladesh will now be limited to only two ports Nhawa Sheva and Kolkata port, while imports from all other land ports will be restricted. It is clear that now Bangladesh will be able to export only through C Port instead of the land port. The DGFT direction further stated that many items like fruits, fruit -tasted carbonated drinks, snacks, chips and confectionery have been listed as well as many items like cotton waste, plastic items, color and wooden furniture.

Shipments coming from Bangladesh for them have been barred from entering through Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram and especially any land customs station (LCS) or Integrated Check Post (ICP) located in Changaradha and Phulbari in West Bengal. However, fish, LPG, are exempted for edible oil, which can continue entering through these ports. These changes from India have been included in India’s import policy with immediate effect. Plastic pipe wooden furniture or other plastic products have also been banned on export through land ports.
Now Bangladesh’s arrogance will come out
After the controversial comments made by Muhammad Yunus, the head of the interim government of Bangladesh, this tension has been seen in relations between India and Bangladesh and the special thing is that they have made these comments in China. Yunus, who recently dancing at the behest of China, visited there and during this time claimed that the northeastern states of India are surrounded by land and depended on Bangladesh for access to the sea. Describing Bangladesh as the only patron of the Indian Ocean in this region, he invited China to use his trade routes. In such a situation, in response to this, the step of banning the ports for import of Bangladeshi goods was taken from India to remove its arrogance.
This will be the loss of Bangladesh
This move of India has caused Bangladesh to get a big economic injury, it can be gauged from the fact that whatever business was done between Bangladesh and India till now, about 93 percent of the land ports used to be done only through land ports, but with the new move of India, Bangladeshi products will be able to come through Kolkata or Nhawa Sheva port of Maharashtra and its direct impact will be seen in the cost of growing Bangladeshi. If you understand this from an example, Bangladesh, a prominent player in the global textile sector, exported readymade clothes worth $ 38 billion in 2023, including $ 700 million to India. In such a situation, it is clear that India’s action is going to suffer heavy losses.
