Harry Dunn passed away in medical facility after his motorbike was associated with a crash outside RAF Croughton.
The suspect in the crash which eliminated Harry Dunn is “wanted worldwide” after an Interpol notification.
Mr Dunn 19, passed away after a crash in Northamptonshire in August and United States national Anne Sacoolas is suspected of causing his death by unsafe driving.
A Home Office extradition request was declined by the US in January.
In an e-mail from authorities to Mr Dunn’s moms and dads the force said “the desired flows should be enacted” must Mrs Sacoolas leave the US.
Reacting to the news Mr Dunn’s mother Charlotte Charles said: “It’s been an awful time for us. We are entirely bereft and heartbroken and miss our Harry every minute of every single day.”
She said the current advancement was “crucial news” and the family were “in pieces”.
