Carmelo Anthony’s introduction to the Hall of Fame was originally announced in April 2025. Later, the former Los Angeles Lakers star chose two NBA legends to greet him when he joins the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame next month.
He asked Dwyane Wade and Allen Iverson to be his presenters at this year’s induction ceremony. After that, the former point guard penned a message to Carmelo Anthony on social media showing his appreciation.

Although the names have already been announced, the 2025 Basketball Hall of Fame class will be formally inducted and presented in front of multiple other Hall of Famers in September. Carmelo Anthony, a legendary member of the Denver Nuggets and a legend of Team USA, is included in the class. The 2025 Naismith Hall of Fame presenters’ names were also made public a few days ago. The same was revealed on Thursday on X by the official Hall of Fame account.
