Ms Maxwell has actually formerly rejected any participation in or understanding of Epstein’s alleged sexual misconduct.
Prosecutors allege that between 1994 and 1997 Ms Maxwell assisted Epstein groom women as young as 14.

The indictment says Ms Maxwell “assisted, helped with, and contributed to Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of small girls by, among other things, helping Epstein to hire, groom and ultimately abuse victims known to Maxwell and Epstein to be under the age of 18”.

- Conspiracy to lure minors to take a trip to take part in prohibited sex acts
- Luring a minor to travel to engage in unlawful sex acts
- Conspiracy to carry minors with intent to participate in criminal sexual activity
