( CNN)– An emergency clinic physician in Miami, Florida, has briefly lost custody of her 4-year-old daughter while she deals with patients during the coronavirus pandemic
Dr. Theresa Greene stated she was appealing the emergency situation order that approved her ex-husband complete custody of their child.
” I believe it’s not fair, it’s cruel to ask me to pick in between my kid and the oath I took as a doctor,” Greene said. “I will not abandon my group at work or the clients who will increasingly aim to me to conserve their lives in the coming weeks, but it’s torture.”
Greene and her ex-husband have actually been separated for nearly 2 years and have split time with their daughter evenly.
