“It is an excellent searching fulfillment for the for the women folk’s team of workers,” says 23-one year-frail Lily, who captains the aspect.

Lily, who lives in Belfast, started taking part in football when she used to be 12 and there “had been only boys’ teams”.

Ballyclare coach Karen Mornin O’Neill is of the same opinion with Lily and thinks the nationwide squad are a “great inspiration and position model to our women”.
