Ghislaine Maxwell, the former girlfriend and longtime associate of dead accused sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has been arrested by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in New Hampshire.

The 58-year-old, who lived for years with Epstein, was taken into custody around 8: 30am Thursday (local time), according to FBI spokesman Marty Feely.
The Bureau said they had been keeping tabs on her for some time.
“We learned she had slithered away to a gorgeous property in New Hampshire, continuing to live a life of privilege while her victims live with the trauma inflicted upon them years ago,” William Sweeney, assistant director in charge of the FBI’s New York office, said at a news conference
