Felicity Huffman, the “Desperate Housewives” star who served 11 days in jail for her involvement in a college admissions scandal, states she seemed like she would have been a “bad mom” if she had not paid a fixer $15,000 to falsify her child’s SAT rating. “It seemed like I needed to provide my child an opportunity at a future,” Huffman informed Los Angeles tv station KABC in her very first public remarks about her participation in the plan. “And so it was sort of like my child’s future, which implied I needed to break the law.” An FBI examination called Operation Varsity Blues looked into a prevalent criminal plan to get trainees into elite colleges utilizing scams and bribery, and Huffman was amongst the most popular of the lots of accuseds.
