The entire AFL fraternity has united to detest a dismal performance from Fremantle on Friday night footy.
The Dockers kicked just five goals, including only one in the first half, in a catastrophic display for coach Justin Longmuir, who is certain to face external questions over his job on the back of the performance.
St Kilda completely suffocated the Dockers to win by 61 points, 94-33, as Cooper Sharman kicked four goals and Jack Macrae ran riot with 38 disposals.

“You could not have conjured a better night if you were a St Kilda fan, given what you’d seen in recent weeks,” Alister Nicholson said during commentary for Channel 7.
Late in the game, James Brayshaw added: “This has turned into an absolute mauling.”
By dishing up one of the worst and most shocking performances in recent memory, the Dockers have been universally slammed by footy pundits and fans around the country.
Social media is flooded with scathing criticism of the Dockers. Below is a cross-section of some of it.
Footy broadcaster, Adam White: “Fremantle should be banned from prime time football if it keeps serving up this.”
Former Channel 10 AFL commentator, Stephen Quartermain: “The significant story out of this game is the tenure of the Fremantle Dockers coach. Horrific performance from a club with a talented list. Completely unacceptable.”
Ex-West Coast Eagles defender, Will Schofield: “This is absolutely disgraceful from the Dockers. Where are they?”
Collingwood champion, Dane Swan: “Can we sub Freo at half-time please? No more Friday night games for them, thanks @AFL. What they dish up away from home doesn’t deserve prime time games.”
North Melbourne premiership great, David King: “This is awful, Fremantle. Please take the brakes off at half-time.”
Rudi Edsall: “If you fed every St Kilda v Freo game in history into an AI learning model and asked it to recreate the average match between them it would spit this out.
“Freo have the dream list — elite midfield, gun key forwards, proper defensive general in Alex Pearce, distributors and runners from the back half, loads of X-factor in Michael Frederick and Shai Bolton. Quality on every line. How is their performance floor not higher than this?”
Former St Kilda coach, Grant Thomas: “Off to bed and hope Saints win. Can’t watch this.”
AFL Record editor, Ashley Browne: “When does the AFL start this weekend?”
SEN commentator and Brownlow medallist, Gerard Healy: “I can’t remember too many worse games than this for Fremantle. Let’s forget some of their very early years as a developing club but this is just unbelievable.”
The Age footy writer, Peter Ryan: “As bad as football gets.”
