Sebastian Daily has been getting grievances about how nurses are being dealt with at Cleveland Center Indian River Medical Facility in Vero Beach. The allegations include pregnant nurses, and moms of children being required to work COVID, nurses not receiving benefit raises, and not having the appropriate personal protective equipment.
Pregnant Nurses Working COVID
” Pregnant nurses & mothers with young children in the house are being required to choose in between working COVID or joblessness,” a confidential Cleveland Clinic Indian River Healthcare facility staff member informed Sebastian Daily
” Rather of incentivizing nurses who take the additional shifts, the nurses who decline, for a legitimate reason, are required to either accept the shift or face unemployment,” the anonymous employee included.
We contacted Cleveland Clinic for their reaction to this grievance.

The Cleveland Center, Indian River Hospital employee, was not too happy with the reaction
