GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas (KTRK)– Galveston County got an F-rating when it comes to practicing social distancing as coronavirus cases continue to surge at a worrying rate, stated county health officials.
In a COVID-19 rundown held on Wednesday, the county’s regional health authority, Dr. Philip Keiser, stated there has been a significant boost in cases just in the last 2 weeks.
” We’re extremely anxious,” he stated.
He said there are an overall of 1,486 COVID-19 cases in the county and a quarter of those have popped up in the last week.

Keiser revealed 100 more tests have actually been reported, though, it’s uncertain how many of those tests returned favorable.
