Gang involved in robbing trucks and selling goods busted, two members of Meo gang arrested

STF has arrested two active members of Meo gang in Mathura. They used to loot the goods loaded in trucks and sell them. Recently the accused had sold coal loaded in a truck for Rs 2.5 lakh. The arrest was made with the help of the police station and highway police. The local police is taking further action in the case.

UP STF has arrested two active members of Meo gang in Mathura, who used to steal goods loaded in trucks and sell them on the way. The accused recently sold coal loaded in a truck for Rs 2.5 lakh instead of taking it to Sultanpur. The local police is conducting further investigation in the matter.

According to the information, the accused, while working as truck drivers, used to load goods from different states like Assam, Bihar and West Bengal and take them to other states. Recently, instead of loading coal in a truck and taking it to Sultanpur, the accused sold it on the way for Rs 2.5 lakh. STF had received information from the informer that the accused were going from Agra to Delhi.

After this, UP STF along with the police station and highway police arrested them. A case has been registered against the arrested accused in Police Station Highway, District Mathura. Police said that this gang was involved in the activities of looting and selling goods in trucks for a long time. Now other members of the gang are being searched after interrogating the accused. Further legal action in the case will be taken by the local police.

At the same time, the arrested accused told that they work as truck drivers and load goods from states like Assam, Bihar, West Bengal etc. and take them to other states. The accused had loaded the coal in the truck and sent it to Sultanpur, but on the way they sold the coal for Rs 2.5 lakh. A case has been registered against the accused in Police Station Highway (Mathura). Further legal action will be taken by the local police.
