Residents on the Willows Estate on Grimsby have no worry of the rain and showers thanks to financing from Lincolnshire Co-op and the kindness of Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP). The social real estate company, which offers nearly 12,500 houses throughout Lincolnshire, just recently supported the Bishop King Centre on Grimsby’s Willows Estate by developing a movement scooter shelter as part of its dedication to Great Homes and Strong Communities. Lincolnshire Co-op moneyed the shelter. It provides homeowners a dry, covered location to save their scooters when going to the centre on a rainy day. Dave Toyne (Handyperson) and John Bramhill (Pipefitter/Welder) from LHP invested a cold winter season’s afternoon constructing the shelter. When routine visitors to the Bishop King Centre’s weekly Chatterbox sessions showed up for their normal see, they were happily amazed. “We’re over the moon and we’re extremely grateful to the LHP Team for constructing the shelter for us,” stated Peggy “Typically, it hasn’t drizzled much considering that it was set up,” included Sandra Booth, a routine at the centre. “But we are anticipating the damp weather condition for a modification– so we can check the shelter out!
