Biologists developed an information archive of animal motion studies from across the worldwide Arctic and sub-Arctic and performed three case studies that revealed unexpected patterns and associations between environment modification and the habits of golden eagles, bears, caribou, moose and wolves. This work shows both the expediency and importance of global-scale animal ecology.
