The Government of Singapore (GoS) holds a significant presence in the Indian stock market and consistently ranks as the top foreign institutional investor (FII) by portfolio value. As per its latest shareholding disclosure for the December 2025 quarter, GoS reported investments in 50 BSE-listed companies, with a combined market value of approximately Rs 1,84,455 crore as of January 23, 2025. This compares with a portfolio value of Rs 2,31,704 crore in March 2025, reflecting a decline of nearly 20% so far in FY26.

Decline in portfolio value Despite the decline in overall portfolio value during FY26, stock-level performance remains encouraging. More than half of the holdings delivered positive returns, with 11 stocks surging between 25% and 90% within a span of less than 10 months in FY26. At the same time, the portfolio also includes three notable laggards, each declining by over 25% during the same period.
