Harry ‘fooled by Russian pranksters phone call’

Two Russian pranksters claim they deceived the Duke of Sussex into making comments about giving up the Royal Family.

Among the pair, Alexey Stolyarov, told the BBC Prince Harry talked about numerous issues after they impersonated teenage environment activist Greta Thunberg and her dad in 2 call.

In the calls, Prince Harry is stated to criticise Donald Trump over environment modification and explain his choice to end official royal responsibilities as “challenging”.

Buckingham Palace did not comment.

Mr Stolyarov – who performs as part of a duo with Vladimir Kuznetsov – told the BBC’s Moscow reporter Sarah Rainsford quotes of the 2 calls released exclusively by the Sun newspaper are “precise”.

The BBC has been not able to validate the credibility of the phone calls, made on New Year’s Eve and 22 January.
