Several members of the French Foreign Legion revealed their beliefs to WION, stressing the advantage they feel in taking part in the parade. Corporal Chef Sujan, a Nepal-born member, revealed his pride in representing the military culture of one country in another. In a heartfelt gesture, he praised India in Hindi, stressing the gravity and pride related to being chosen for among India’s essential days. He stated, “Its a happy minute to represent the military culture of one nation in another, garv ka baat hai, its a happy minute to get chosen in among the most essential day in India, the republic day.” Captain Louis echoed the belief of honor and chance. “It’s a terrific chance for us. We are members of a neighborhood of 9000 individuals, originating from 140 citizenships. It’s a distinct core in the French army, an excellent honor,” he specified.
