It has been the longest winning streak in history.
For more than a years, Wall Street has been on a tear, chewing through records against all the chances to ratchet up an unbelievable 132 months, easily overtaking the 1990 s bull run.
There have been a couple of blips along the way– the European debt crisis in 2012 and the Brexit vote offered Wall Street a dosage of the wobbles and simply 18 months back, financiers began discharging stocks as fears of a worldwide slowdown followed a series of United States interest rate walkings
This time, however, there is a sense that it’s all over.
The losses of the previous 3 weeks have tipped US stocks into what’s referred to as a bearish market; when stocks drop more than 20 percent from their peak. We remain in precisely the exact same territory.
