Hundreds have taken ill after the gas leak at a polymer factory.
The leakage, in the city of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh state, has been traced to the LG Polymers plant.
The leak occurred when the plant was being re-opened for the first time because 24 March when India went into lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus.
” One might feel the gas in the air and it was not possible for any of us to stay there for more than a few minutes,” she stated.
