The Indian Army has announced recruitment for its Technical Entry Scheme (TES-54) course, inviting online applications from unmarried male candidates. A total of 90 provisional vacancies are open. The application process is valid till June 12, 2025, candidates can check their eligibility and apply.
Eligibility Criteria
This opportunity is open to those who have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), and have appeared in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025. Eligible applicants will be considered for the grant of Permanent Commission in the Army.
To qualify, candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in PCM subjects from any of the three recognised educational boards. The eligibility criteria for PCM percentage calculation will be based on Class XII marks only. Additionally, it is mandatory for candidates to have appeared in the JEE (Mains) 2025 examination.
Age Limit Applicants must meet the age criteria set by the Indian Army. Candidates must be at least 16½ years old and not older than 19½ years on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence. Specifically, they should have been born between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009 (both dates inclusive).

Shortlisted candidates will be called to appear for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, which is tentatively scheduled to begin from August or September 2025 onwards.
