Hyderabad: Minister K.T. Rama Rao has sought funds for Telangana Dispute under the Central govt’s manufacturing-linked incentive (PLI) schemes to lift IT hardware and manufacturing sectors in the bid, sources in the bid govt mentioned on Wednesday.

The minister met Union minister of bid for IT and electronics Rajeev Chandrasekhar in Novel Delhi and appraised the Union minister about the Telangana govt’s plans to generate round Rs 2.5 lakh crore worth manufacturing in the electronics sector.

Rama Rao suggested the Union minister that the bid govt’s plans will get 16 lakh jobs via electronic manufacturing clusters in the subsequent 10 years and sought Centre’s assistance to meet these targets.
