April 23 (Reuters) – Serious storms and a twister swept through the U.S. states of Oklahoma and Texas, eliminating a minimum of six individuals and injuring lots, authorities stated on Thursday.
3 individuals died and at least 20 were injured when a twister touched down in Onalaska, Texas, on Wednesday, emergency officials stated. Onalaska is about 90 miles north of Houston.
Two individuals were also eliminated in southern Oklahoma, while local media reported that a lady died in storm in Louisiana.
” On April 22, a twister struck the city of Onalaska and other parts of Polk and San Jacinto counties, and perhaps even far eastern Walker County”, Houston’s National Weather condition Service (NWS) said in a statement.
