Professor Paul Kelly states he understands the tower blocks under lockdown ‘very well’
The Performing Chief Medical Officer states his kid used to live “within eyesight” of a few of them.
He includes: “The way [the increase in cases in Victoria] will come under control is very clear, we understand how to do that, it is led by the information.
” Testing, trace and isolate [are] important and essential public health responses.

Potential for tower obstructs to be locked down for longer if residents decline screening
The Premier says it’s anticipated that citizens will agree to be tested.
However if they don’t, he adds: “Then obviously the prospective difficult lockdown has to run longer … certainly for those locals who aren’t prepared to be tested.
