How I begin my day …
As dawn light melts over the landscape and the air awaits stillness, I go strolling over Wilyakali land. Red sand crunches underneath my boots, and my pets run ahead of me. I take in the freshness and newness of the early morning, filling my lungs with the Country I appreciate. I begin every day observing and getting in touch with my house, a location I invest my waking hours aiming to secure.
On aspiration …
I’m not driven by aspiration however rather a sense of obligation– our task of look after our environment, for each other, and for the next generation. Duty to acknowledge what’s not working and to attempt to repair things. I do think that it’s our duty– everyone– to do something about it that deal with the environment crisis. There is an abundance of manner ins which we can make much better options in our houses, food, clothes, transportation, energy, organizations and neighborhoods. And it’s our duty to progress much better methods of living so we can care for our lovely world.
On work-life balance …
The activities I carry out, typically called “work”, can’t be separated from who I am. My pastimes, my interests, my education, my occupation are all implanted in my life and a part of me. When I take “time off” I invest it with nature and I study the natural world around me, checking out books, composing and recording the appeal of this world in images and movie. I likewise do all thes
