( Reuters) – New York City Governor Andrew Cuomo stated on Friday that the number of coronavirus clients in intensive care systems throughout the state dropped in the last day, using a glimmer of hope that the rise in critical care hospitalizations may be leveling off.

Cuomo stated there were 17 fewer patients in the state’s extensive care systems on Thursday than a day prior. This was the first time that group of patients has decreased in a day given that the outbreak took hold and a sign that
