The very first case of coronavirus in North Carolina was reported on Tuesday, and authorities said the client took a trip to a Washington state assisted living home where 5 of its senior residents have died from the infection.
North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper revealed the case at a Tuesday interview, the results of which were based off of state screening, according to The News and Observer Cooper called the case “presumptive” given that the positive outcomes still need to be confirmed by the United States Centers for Illness Control and Prevent
