UNITED COUNTRIES (AP)– Kids have up until now largely left the most serious symptoms of COVID-19 but the social and economic impact “is possibly disastrous for countless children,” according to a U.N. report released Thursday.

It stated COVID-19 is turning into “a more comprehensive child-rights crisis.”

” All children, of any ages, and in all nations, are impacted,” it said. “However, some kids are predestined to bear the greatest costs.”

Those severely struck will be kids residing in slums, refugee and displacement camps, dispute zones, institutions and detention centers and children with specials needs, the report stated.
