The Adelaide greengrocer who shared the video on Instagram said that although he regretted posting it — and admitted sending abusive messages in response to criticism — he is “not a racist person”.
SA Police said in a statement they would be investigating the incident and that deliberately sneezing on someone is classed as an assault under coronavirus-prompted laws.
