Scientists Are Sick Of Explaining Why The COVID-19 Infection Was Not Made in a Lab

It’s a rumour that just will not pass away. When asked whether the COVID-19 virus was genetically engineered in a laboratory, scientists have currently said “no” rather firmly, however the matter of the new coronavirus’ origin is unlikely to be laid to rest so easily.

Discussions around this subject have become a lot more relevant considering that United States government intelligence officials are reportedly examining the potential source of the pandemic, concentrating on theories that it may have originated in a lab, regardless of all proof pointing to SARS-CoV-2 not being human-made.

” All proof so far indicates the truth the COVID-19 infection is naturally obtained and not man-made,” describes immunologist Nigel McMillan from the Menzies Health Institute Queensland.

” If you were going to create it in a lab the sequence modifications make no sense as all previous proof would inform you it would make the infection even worse. No system exists in the lab to make some of the modifications discovered.”

Back in late March, we covered a research study released in Nature Medication, in which the researchers examined the genomic data of SARS-CoV-2 – especially the receptor-binding domain (RBD) areas of the infection – to try and find how it altered into the virulent and fatal version we’re currently struggling to contain

As a spin-off of their research, they had the ability to figure out that SARS-CoV-2 was not genetically controlled.

” By comparing the offered genome series data for known coronavirus stress, we can securely identify that SARS-CoV-2 stemmed through natural processes,” among the researchers, Scripps Research immunologist Kristian Andersen, stated at the time.

” Two features of the infection, the anomalies in the RBD part of the spike protein and its distinct backbone, dismiss lab manipulation as a prospective origin for SARS-CoV-2

Although it is clear the virus was not created in the laboratory, there have been continuous concerns it might have ‘left’ a research study center, with the majority of the speculation – understandably – focussed on the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). It remains simply speculation. The Washington
