Australians who have been stranded in Wuhan are now set to leave the coronavirus epicentre at around 3: 15 am (AEDT) Sunday morning on a 2nd Qantas flight.
Bottom line:
- The flight has been postponed due to an absence of clearance from Chinese authorities
- This 2nd flight is still based on Chinese Federal government approval of remove from Wuhan
- There is a possibility of a 3rd evacuation flight but that has not yet been validated
The current group of evacuees will then be taken to Darwin on the flight, which was postponed due to the fact that of a lack of approval from Chinese authorities
