The 16-second visual of Raavan, a 29-second scene of Hanuman burning and visuals of the Constitutional head to name a few from the movie are erased ahead of its release. Ahead of its release, Singham Again needed to go through cuts and adjustments to get the last consent. The Central Board Of Film Certification(CBFC) given Ajay Devgn’s movie a U/A certificate after censoring over 7 minutes of video footage. Singham Again draws parallels with the impressive folklore Ramyana with Ajay Devgn’s character Singham playing Lord Ram and Kareena Kapoor as Maa Sita. Ravan is being represented by Arjun Kapoor, while Ranveer Singh and Tiger Shroff’s characters will be seen representing Hanuman and Lakshman respectively. The assessment committee offered a thumbs-up to the movie after the makers customized and erased a couple of scenes. Supposedly, the makers needed to customize the 23-second-long ‘match cut’ visual representations of Lord Rama, Sita Mata and Lord Hanuman; a 23-second-long visual of ‘Singham with Shri Ram, touching feet’ and the discussions in between Zubair and Simmba. The 16-second visual of Raavan getting, pulling and pressing Sita in the drama scene, a 29-second scene of ‘Hanuman burning and discussion of Simmba flirting’ were erased. A number of discussions of the character of Zubair were erased. In other locations, the visuals of the Constitutional head were erased and his discussions were changed.
